Of course, it was a Friday afternoon, so we had to wait until Monday to contact the company. After sending an email showing the picture of the part assembled upside down, I spoke on the phone to a customer service rep. Very nice and saw the problem immediately, took all of the information in order to ship out the correct part. So, now it is over a week later, and the delivery of the part that was supposed to happen today, (Aug 5th) is now “pending until further notice”. So until I receive the correct part and have it assembled, this only rates 1 star at the most. Quality control checking was sorely lacking on this item. Update! We received the part, on August 6th, unpacked it only to find the bottom rail looked like had been chewed by a dog, or even a teething child! It was missing the bottom glide for,the leg, and they were not even the same size! Needless to say, not a happy camper. Called the company, sent emails of damage etc., and they just basically said...”oh well” contact wayfair and tell them you want a new one.” A new one is on the way. Will do another update once the new unit arrives. Last update! I will rate this 3 stars even though it is a cute table, and the color is great. We received the second unit, after the above mishaps, and this one was fine. It’s too bad we had to go through all the hassle, but the company we dealt with was nice enough, and Wayfair was quick to respond as well. Even though this wasn’t an open box item originally, I believe they sent us an opened box item when they replaced the original part that was assembled upside down.
